Just saw a commercial for J.C. Penny selling lovey-dovey flowers and crap for Valentines Day.

They used a soft, wimpy, feathery cover of '99 Red Balloons.'

The song about nuclear holocaust. The song with one of the best early videos ever made. The song with that amazing German version. The song covered by 7 Seconds, whose version was so badass it melted stereos.

God fucking dammit.
