Grumman diesel truck at 7/11 waking me up at 5:00 am every morning

We just moved into a new apt. right next to a 7/11 and somebody keeps parking his huge diesel truck in the parking lot idling from 5:00 am to 6:30 am every morning. My girlfriend says this has been going on for over a month(I just got here, she has been here for the past month). It is really pissing me off. This morning I was in bed trying to go back to sleep for an hour when I finally said "Enough!" By the time I got my clothes on the guy had left. I went to the 7/11 anyway to talk to the manager. I asked her if this guy was making deliveries to her store and she said "no" I told her that the guy was creating a nuisance and that there was no reason why someone should be keeping his truck idling for an hour and a half in a parking lot. She then got real defensive and started ignoring me, which signaled to me that she knew this guy. I am going to try the diplomatic approach the next time this happens, but if that fails I am going to make life a living hell for this guy, call the cops, call 7/11 corporate, or whatever. Anybody got any advice?
