Am sure this "Siegfried" would say this better
I am sure this "Siegfried" would say this better in how, no matter what anyone thought of the use of wild animals generally and tigers specifically in performing acts, he no doubt would want everyone's good energy and karma, so that his partner Roy would fully pull through the whole "tiger incident," for the last I heard the other magician, Roy Horn remains still in critical condition.................

2. The first thing he said
was that he didn't want the tiger killed for what happened.

I wish him well, and hope he recovers.

6. What I mean is
they wouldn't report the bite incidents to Animal Control. Good Night.

8. Yeah, we'll see how they treat the tiger(s)
I'm frankly more concerned with the fate of 60-some
tigers than with the guys who use them as props in
their glitzy Vegas show. These are powerful wild animals;
and now one went and acted like a wild animal.
Duh. Inevitable much? Caged and humiliated for three
decades and one has a bad day and lashes out.

And the comparison between a tiger and a dog is a
totally bogus one. Dogs have been domesticated for over
10,000 years. For better or worse, they're assimilated
into human society and dependent on us.
We can't reverse that fact, so society doesn't
tolerate dogs that chew on humans.

But tigers are wild animals even when they're raised in
captivity and trained. Wild animals should be left
the hell alone, and not put in zoos or marine shows
or Vegas acts next to 50 Elvis impersonators.

I think it was really nice of Roy Horn's colleagues
to hold a candlelight vigil for him.
I'd like to see such a vigil for the tigers, whose
fate is now very much up in the air.

Sigfried and Roy had to know that they wouldn't go
on forever. And if they didn't make provisions for
the long term care of these glorious wild cats, then
they're negligent as hell.
