2. I have a great head of hair but I am female
On my mothers side the men go bald
My father still had great hair at 72
Brother seems to have gotten the hair gene from dad, but he was worried

45. I could 'blink' things when I was little (when my dad was helping)
It doesn't seem appropriate to ask somehow.

I'll try it by myself.

*blinks*
*blinks again*
*blinks harder*

16. I Seem To Have Dodged a Genetic Bullet
Baldness runs rampant on both sides of my family; my father's receding hairline and bald spot were on a collision course when he was still in his twenties. Both brothers have commenced molting in earnest. I'm 50 and still have all my hair.

I may take after one grandfather, who never lost any hair and lived to 85. In addition, he had hardly any gray hair. I'll likely surpass his gray-hair count, however.

17. No telling how the genes will mix up
When I was standing in line in heaven I pointed to my grandmother and said "god I want big ones like hers--" but he gave me her size 10 feet and not her boobs.

22. right there with you
my grandfather had a snow white "fringe" at 35 and the other one had a dracula hairline but I somehow have all of mine. And thanks to hard exercise, taking multi vitamins, meditation, yoga, painting my ass blue and standing on my head for two hours a day, oh and plus a little Just For Men, I don't have a single gray hair. Anywhere.

I'll say one thing - a man who wears a wig to hide baldness, is not a man.

19. Females getting bald
My mom's side of the family, all the men were bald, I think her dad was bald before he was 30, still a handsome guy regardless.

But his oldest sister always wore wigs, and when I saw her for the last time, she was 100 years old, and the week before she passed away, I found out why. She was not wearing a wig and she was balder than my grandpa...no hair whatsoever.

My mom was losing her hair in her 50's and she was nearly bald when she died in her late 60's.

My brothers are also losing their hair, and I figure I have another decade of hair left, which I wear natural and undyed.

24. always had great hair
no baldys in my family. But when the chemo srarted making it fall out. I got it pretty much buzzed. And having it that short made it easy to care for, during a time when self-feeding was a chore. :)

I've been bald for 4 months. I went from long blond hair to a chemo
cut. My hair is now 1/4 inch long and coming in dark. I was hoping for red hair, but I'll take what I can get.:)
I don't see how bald guys stay warm in the winter. :)
