Classic Video games! Which are your favorities?
Alright which video games were your favorities from back in the day? I grew up on NES myself...

Here are some cool nostalgia sites:

Video Game Music - cool site...lots of tunes.
http://www.vgmusic.com/

All the NES games in java applets - no need to d/l ROMS, which are hard to find anyways.

First game I got hooked on and could play for hours.
I still have my top loading NES and about a dozen games which I still love playing.
NES favorites: Pinbot, Castlevania 3, Zelda, the first Simpsons game and BattleToads.

10. Super Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda
The first video games I ever beat.

I had an Atari 2600 when I was really little, but I don't remember too many things from back then.

It was the first game I ever beat - it was for the TRS80 CoCo.

That was text only. No graphics. And my CoCo had a total memory of 16k. That's right - 16k. That was the middle range. You could get a 4k model too, if you didn't need all the power of the 16k version.

Ask me about the cassette tape drive. :)

19. Stargate for the arcade, Intellivision for home.
Many great times could be had for a quarter back then. I could play Stargate for hours just racking up ships and smart bombs. The cool thing was if you got the high score it would let you put full messages for your name. Like "Fuck You Jim, I RULE!"
