watching 'The West Wing' depresses me...

I got the first season DVD's for christmas and just started going through them...i used to watch it all the time on Bravo every morning before the election but now it's almost too depressing to watch...

I'm so enamored by the show that it's so hard for me to imagine the assholes who hold those titles in real life doing anything even remotely as good as anyone in the Bartlett Administration...

like the episode where Bartlett slams those fundies (after Josh insulted one of them on national tv)??? that was fucking awesome!

and he sat outside the Repuke Congresmen's office and then left making them look stupid . Classic .
