I guess that's the determining factor about who should win tonight - who do we want to see lose to the (unstoppable and better) Yankees?

Personally, I'd like to see Boston lose to the Yanks, so I'll say tonight, GO RED SOX!!

How about you?

5. Yet another year of Bahstonites pathetically
crying, "Next year is our year! You just wait! Next year!"

Siffle sniffle, boo hoo.

If the Red Sox take the world series, I'll...well, I don't want to make bets I don't plan to keep, but, well, I guess I can say, if the Red Sox take the world series next time someone forces me to go that damned baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown, I'll act like I actaully care baout the history of baseball.

9. I would agree, however
...during the Twins game, they re-evolved back to the form they used to be. Game 1 could've easily pushed them down and 2002 would've happened again.
I don't see that happening again, however, I see weakness in the BP. Same for Boston.
If there's a Boston/Yanks ALCS, the two teams are pretty much even.

15. Both teams even ?

I have to disagree....look at both rotations......the Yankees starting pitching is really strong and there's 4 starting pitchers on a roll right now......can't say the same about Boston.....

Yes there is a tinge of envy to the boys in pinstipes with me..Sure they wil be forever the best team in sports of the 20th century..BUT SCREW EM!!! The Sox will beat them wicked bad this year.
I for one hope for a Cubs/Sox series so we will all know in advance when the apocolypse is upon us....

17. Okay, so I wasn't totally correct, and the sox took one game
Yanks were probably just taking it easy, to save energy for the rest.
