I haven't had a drop of alcohol in several weeks. Last night, I got into a rather heavy embroilment over in GD and had a hard time falling asleep. Would have had a glass of wine--really really wanted a glass--but I couldn't due to an antibiotic. Well, I'm not on it any more and I'm safe to drink. I stocked up on decent merlot at the aforementioned liquor store today (the one with kiddie carts) and plan on enjoying part of a bottle.

like i did afterwords once. posting after hitting a college keg party, ah good times.

and now my poor brother is on drugs that means he can't have any alcohol for the next 5 months. that puts him out until the end of the year, and that means he's out for the entire first semester of his senior year and homecoming party. I guess he'll have to more than make up for it in the second semester.

15. I'm a clean freak when I have time to be...

I can't even grade tests or write unless my house is clean, at least topically.

I have a ritual wherein I clean house before I can begin work. Since most of my work is at home, I have to clean before I can think.

However, at the end of the semester blitzkrieg, I have to ignore the dust, smudges, and sandy floor in order to get my work done. It pains me, but that's the way it is.

Then, the day after I submit final grades, I engage myself in cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.


I discovered a great mint oil cleaner--"Crest-O-Mint." I douse my house with the stuff when I clean--leaves it smelling as sterile as an emergency room...lol!

I have to be careful about getting drunk with the medication I take. It makes me very sleepy. Sometimes I am high when I post though. I am not high now. I am just tired.
