Bush gave a speech in Omaha today and apparently there are some holes in his screening process. A Democrat got in...

During Bush's remarks in Omaha, a heckler interrupted, saying "Quit lying. You're full of ... , you liar," from high in the arena. As Bush supporters nearby yelled the protester down, the president made the rare move of publicly responding, saying "We love free speech in America," before moving on with his sales job.

That's right, a Nebraskan heckled Bush. I couldn't be more proud.

The Sarah I knew lived in Omaha for a time. Went to Creighton, then moved to Council Bluffs. :)

Apparently he was escorted from the event center and questioned by the Secret Service. But check out the info on the protest outside...it was a success!
