Let Mila melt your heart...
This is Mila. She came from a very bad place. In the picture, you can see her hair still hasn't come in fully. You can also see her back legs are stained yellow from her having had to sit in her own urine constantly. I've only had her a week, but she's WONDERFUL. She took her exam and all of her shots like a trooper. It only took her a day to get used to going potty outdoors, which is always a plus. The cats are about 1.5 times her size, so they all get along great.
She likes to sleep between my knees, which is sort of uncomfortable, but I don't have the heart to turn her away.

Never underestimate shelter dogs or strays... This is the third shelter dog I've had and all three have been absolute angels.

11. Yep, she's like a jack russell crossed with a wiener dog...
She's still very wiggly, so I couldn't get her to sit still long enough for the length of her body to come through

I love your little guy! Almost too cute to be a real dog!

12. Yep, it's odd though
When I brought home my two male cats, Lilo and Stitch my females HATED me for about six months. I bring home Mila? Nothin. They sleep next to her and even eat out of the same bowl. Maybe Kenai and Koda were just talking smack in Cat-language.

13. She is soooooo lucky
to have you. Shelter dogs are the best, especially if they have come from a bad place. She knows she has hit the gravy train and will be forever faithful because you show her love, kindness and respect...but then you already know that! She is adorable. You are now a very lucky family. I love her ears. Give them a scratch for me, K?

14. You can't see, but she has little bites taken out of her ears.
It makes me wonder what the hell the people who had her were thinking. But yep, I'll be sure to give her some scratchin's!
