Boy Named Jake 2.0 Confusing Marketers

OLALLA, Wash. -- A couple who named their son Jake 2.0 is finding the name doesn't add up with some people.

His Washington state birth certificate reads "Jake Matthew Thompson Two Point Zero." His Social Security card reads simply "Jake Matthew Thompson."

Even Gerber Baby Foods couldn't fill an order for a Jake 2.0 spoon and sent one that merely said "Jake."

Jake was born a year ago.

His parents, Kyle Thompson and Dawn Carpenter, named him after a science-fiction character. The say he's an upgrade of themselves.
