I have a question about the movie "Stand By Me"?
I haven't seen this movie in many many years... so...

Q: At the beginnning, when Vern tells his three buddies about the dead body, we see a brief flashback in which Vern's older brother and another guy are talking about their finding the dead body of the missing kid? Why is it that they won't/can't go to the authorities? Or why are they scared to tell anyone?

I also don't remember...

Q: The dead kid got hit by a train right? Was it suicide or accidental?

Peace,

1. A) Vern's brother and Eyeball won't go to the cops
because they're a couple of JD's, and scared that the cops would arrest them.

B) Accidental.

C) I love that friggin' movie. "Nobody believes in that stuff about moons and goochers, Vern!"

2. I think it had something to do with
them boosting a car.
