What do you like about your city/town/village?
Besides its uber-Liberalness (just like my state ;)), I like the subway system here. I don't have to get people to drive me everywhere.

14. Chicago area.
Not in the city proper, but close enough. I'm going to be working in the city, however, and there's no better place in the entire world.

5. Lots of trees in town and around, brilliant mountains rounding the
area, the inlet, salmon in the river averaging 50-100 pounds, bald eagles in the sky, grizzlies in the rivers fishing and moose wandering around. Friendly town with modern conveniences, yet can go into the wilderness in five minutes: Soldotna, Alaska (Kenai Peninsula)

Love how we have a small town feeling, a sense of knowing everyone and shit, but we also have the big city feeling with our buildings and diversity, plus we got many funny bastards.

We've got rich people, poor people and middle class people living within a few square miles. We've even got a barrio even though it's only about 10 houses.
