2. I thought I was going to.

Kevin and his bro came in to the office for what we thought was going to be a performance. We set up two chairs in the front of a conference room, and then about a dozen of us filed in and sat at the conference table. Kevin and his bro came in sans guitars, sat down, looked at us with some annoyance and said: "So...does anyone have any questions?"
Worst. Office. Performance. Ever.

They played the Sausalito Art Festival in one of those last carefree days of September 2001. (That would be, for those who are counting, somewhere between 9/1/01 and 9/10/01.)

Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks were on just before them. We were there to see Dan so we left after his set.

We heard the Bacon band from the ferry dock. Eh. Kind of like the Shitty E Street Band.

(For Hicks fans, Dan did do "The Buzzard Was Their Friend", and had a really good time with the lines about the frying bacon.)
