Help! I'm obsessed with Starship!
I just got the Mannequin soundtrack off e-bay and I am listening to 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now' for like the 15th time in a row.

Before that, it was Knee Deep In The Hoopla.

Is it normal to be obsessed with a band that is univerally regarded as the suckiest band of the 80s?

4. Yay!
I'm glad somebody agrees with me! I have been kind of self-conscious about my love for this band ever since Blender magazine named 'We Built This City' the worst song of all time.

7. Did you know...
that 'We Built This City' was the very first US #1 for Jefferson Airplane/Starship!

It's true!

Also that Grace Slick was the oldest woman to EVER have a #1 hit at that time and that she has since been surpassed by herself for Sara and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now and by Cher's Believe.

It's true!

6. The Best Way to Forget the Starship
is to go back to the early Jefferson Starship. Specifically Dragonfly, which I think is one of the best rock recordings ever made.

Boy, did the group ever flame out after that.
