Sniff, sob - hubby went home today. WAAAHHH!!!
After a blissful weekend together, I packed my husband off to Dallas again today. Back to loneliness - SIGH. Won't get to see him until spring break in mid-March unless he can return for a short visit in February. Woe is me!!

2. I know how you feel...
My Janet is working on a movie about 200 miles north of Minneapolis for the next few months! I went up this weekend, but it's a grueling drive and you can never count on the weather...

5. That would be very difficult, especially with the weather there
I hope the time flies!

3. Are you separated because you are in school? That has got to be just
awful for you. Here is hoping March comes very soon for you.

6. Yes - I'm in Pittsburgh finishing law school
I shouldn't complain, because it was my choice to stay and do my last year here instead of doing the last year in Dallas, but I didn't want to upset the apple cart as far as school goes. Thanks for caring!

P.S. Are you feeling better?

11. Pittsburgh is a pretty cool city...
Janet and I are from right up the road, Youngstown, OH, the BUCKLE of The Rust Belt.

13. Someone at school was just mentioning the "Rust Belt" to me today
And complaining about how hard it is to find a job here. She gets pretty good grades and can't even get an interview anywhere. Glad I'm moving to Texas!

7. We talk daily, sometimes several times a day
But there's nothing like being together! This too shall pass - tomorrow's February already, and graduation is May 28th.

9. totally
There is nothing like being together. And no amount of talking can change that fact.
I feel ya, but don't worry- time will fly and you'll be together again! :D

8. Look on the bright side
in forty years you'll both be retired and you'll be begging him to leave the house once and while. :hi:

My point is, the separation won't last forever. When my parents were first married my father got shipped off to Guatal Canal for two and a half years. My mother was 18, and my father was 22. But they had a fifty-two year marriage and four children after he returned.
