Want a politically aware musician?
Then check out Jason Ricci's website www.Jasonricci.com. This guy is a politically progressive guy as well as a pretty good Blues harp player. He has a qusetion at the top of his website which is a good one; "Why Vote? Because Dr. Laura can and Matthew Shepard can't". He also sounds like Paul Butterfield may be alive inside his body. A damn fine Blues musician. And a damn good man, it seems. He also has the Mingus tale of "Don't Let it Happen Here" on his website. Check this guy out and support him by either seeing him live or buying his music, or both.
