HuntBar/BTLink spyware warning

I just receved a pop-up Microsoft-style warning that said "Our (I'm not sure who "they" might be) scanning software detects that this system is infected with a spyware called HuntBar/BTLink"

It then invites me to find out more about spyware removal software.

What I want to know is:

1) Is this a scam?
2) If not, is HuntBar/BTLink spyware something I can easily delete?
3) If not, can you recommend a reliable spyware removal software?

1. Spyware removal software

I use SpyBot - it's a free download and it's reliable. Five Million users can't be wrong.
