Best Nuclear War Movie
I'll have to go with "WarGames"

Although the story was improbable,
I thought it did a good job showing the inner workings of NORAD and the whole Cold War mind set of that time.

It even got the lingo correct, referring to NORAD as "Crystal Palace"

Dabney Coleman was excellent as usual, and Barry Corbin was great as General Baringer.

Best Line: General Beringer: "We've had men in those silos since before any of you guys were watching Howdy Doody! Now I myself sleep pretty well knowing those boys are down there."

Bonus Trivia: John Spencer from the "West Wing" appears at the beginning of the movie as a Minuteman Missile Commander who refuses to turn his key to launch the missiles.

1. Nope. Dr Strangelove wins hands down, followed by The Bedford Incident.

5. Dr Strangelove, then Fail-Safe...
"War Games" was good, but both of these were better, I think...
