I love Peanut Butter Pie


Peanut Butter Pie Makes 2 pies

1 8oz pkg cream cheese soften
1 cup of crunchy peanut butter
1 16oz container of cool whip
1 ½ cups sifted powered sugar
2 9 inch graham cracker crusts
3 oz of milk chocolate chips

Combine cream cheese and peanut butter —Beat until light and fluffy. Add cool whip and powder sugar. Continue beating until smooth. Spoon into prepared crusts. Freeze 8 hours. Optional : melt choc chips with 2 tbsp of water and spread over pies before freezing.

1. I made peanut butter cookies this morning, from SCRATCH!

They are awesome. I melted some chocolate and added it to the last little batch and made a reese's cookie! YUM. (those are the darker ones on top) Insomnia is sometimes a blessing. I'll have to try your recipe next time!

4. thanks! they are good, surprizingly! I usually fuck up somehow
when I try the ancient Joy of Cooking recipes, but when they turn out right, they are the best! (my book was published in 1971, a gift from my mom!)

I need coffee now, I have given up on sleep and will just have to stay up till a decent bedtime...sigh.

Definitely go with the 10 mins instead of the 15, my mom made that correction and she was spot on!

good luck! I want the pie now too, i may need to go get some more peanut butter!

13. Peanut Butter Milkshake
Recipe: Peanut Butter Milkshake


Categories: Beverages, Desserts

Yield: 1 Serving

1 tb Creamy peanut butter
Milk
1 ts Vanilla
Vanilla ice cream

Fill a tall glass or mug with as much milk as you wish (I use 1 cup); pour into blender, and add the vanilla and peanut butter. Whirl for 1 minute; add 2 scoops ice cream, then whirl 1 minute more.

Variations: Try your favorite ice cream flavor; Substitute strawberry or other jam for the peanut butter; substitute fresh fruit--some raspberries or a banana--for the peanut butter;
