ATF - Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms
I was in a boring meeting the other day and the acronym ATF came up as one of our business or computer terms but I started thinking about alcohol, tobacco and firearms.

I was thinking in a George Carlin kind of way:

At work you can't drink, carry a gun or smoke. But if you go outside you can smoke but don't be caught with a open container. But if you're a Cop you can't smoke or drink any where on the job but you certainly can shoot a gun. Now anybody in a car can smoke but you can't drink or shoot; however, if you're on a plane you can drink but don't even think about smoking. Now if you're in a bar or restaurant you can drink but you can't smoke - unless you're in a Cigar bar where you can drink and smoke but wouldn't want to eat. If you're at pro sporting event you can drink (up to the 3rd quarter) but you'll have to find another place to smoke. Now I finally figured out an activity where you can smoke, drink, and carry a gun all at the same time perfectly legally - it's called hunting.

1. I love Carlin!
Except he's wrong - you can't drink while hunting. Though it might very well depend on the state that one is in. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in WI to handle a gun while drinking.

3. I was thinking that, but didn't want to say it
Though i was going to use Alabama or TN...

I feel bad making fun of Mississippi. It has such a bad time already.

5. Actually I wrote this 'comedy' - I was in a Carlin state of mind
George Carlin didn't write it.
