and got married almost exactly 2 years later at 21 (almost 22). We married the day we graduated college so it didn't feel young then (and I was one of the last in my HS class to get married). That was in the mid 1990s and we're still together and have 2 kids.
In many ways it feels like yesterday and in many ways it feels like forever ago.
I look back and think I must have been young, but I can't "feel" it.
although my ex's brother dumped HIS wife when she was pregnant with their second child for the babysitter! She came home from work one day and he and the babysitter had packed her and the first child's clothes and moved her back to her mother's house that night! Then he and the b*tch essentially complained about having to pay child support for the next 18 years. Classless bunch of boobs.
Oh, my God - my life is the plot of a really bad soap opera. They all deserve each other.
I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 20. We were friends for two years before we actually "dated". I was 21 years and 1 month old and he was 23 years and 5 months old when we got married in 1966. 38 years later we're still married. Go figure! :D
she was 17 when they got married; he was 23. They eloped, as my father hated him. It's been 34 years for them; 2 kids and 3 grandkids later, they're still very happy.
12. I was 16 he was 19 when we met. Married at 18 and 21.

I had just graduated HS when I first met him. I attended a very strict private school where you had no social outlets. He was the wild and crazy guy I was craving.
