There's something about her that just makes my skin crawl - in a Farrah Fawcett Majors kind of way.....

1. Ever see "The Darling Buds of May?"
It was one of the first things she did, I believe. It's a British tv series. She's great in it.

2. She's a PHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She said that she loves the 1950's when Hollywood was
"truely glamorous"! (a.k.a: fake, fraud, b.s) Besides, she only married Michael Douglas to help further her career!

:eyes:

7. I was going to say: "Yeh? But what do you do when she opens
her mouth?", then decided that this would probably be a rhetorical question....

4. Oh please!
I'll admit she has had some less than stellar performances, such as the movie with Sean Connery, totally forgettable. But she was absolutely perfect in Traffic and Chicago. I believe to many rate her because of who her husband is. The truth is she's been in acting for a very long time, on stage in England, singing and dancing, and has worked her tail off to achieve the success she has.

9. Well, here's one female who thinks...
Catherine Zeta Jones is truly elegant and as close as we really get to the class of old Hollywood(much against my cat-scratching tendencies, I must admit this).

As for being an opportunist with Michael-- well, maybe. But, despite the age difference, face it.. This would be a fascinating man and family to marry into. I don't blame her. She clearly did not absolutely NEED to marry him to advance her career.

Give her a break, sheesh. There are plenty of disgusting gold-diggers out there with no talent. I do not in any way think that applies to CZJ. I just wish I COULD hate her!
