1. They're cute, but I didn't know they had fingers.

2. I think they're like finger-paws
If that's possible.

3. So now we can track down and prosecute Koala Konvicts

The world is safe from Eucalyptus Thieves.

Not to mention Criminal Cuteness.

4. Really? That sounds unlikely
but I hear a lot of animals have other unique traits, like Zebra stripes.

Koalas' cuteness is a bit of a front, BTW. Up close, they can be vicious.

6. The cuteness must be a ploy.
Maybe they use it to lure you close in order to pet them, so they can bite you. But they are awfully cute.

7. Have you been "up close" with a Koala? (nt)

8. No, but my sister has, and she says they're pretty vicious
Incidentally, she is 24 and not the sort of person to provoke an animal.

And I wasn't trying to demean them - but they remain wild animals.

9. That's the problem with (wild) animals and people
us humans think we can poke and pry, and get all into their habitant without them giving a shit.

I love to watch Animal Planet and other animal shows but it kills me when those guys on TV, especially Steve Irwin, try to "make friends" with the animals.

Sometimes enough is enough and they need to leave the animals alone.
