Poll question: Best Progressive Magazine
Edited on Tue Jul-15-03 05:17 PM by LynneSin
And I'm sure I've missed a few, but which ones do you subscribe to. I'll edit and add if I see any major ones missing.

Personally, I feel if you can support these magazines, subscribe! Give them your business!

edited to include links to the magazines in case you might be interested in any of these!

1. The Texas Observer
Molly Ivins, Jim Hightower, actual in-depth stories concerning the bilge spewing from the Lege, and a southward glance in most editions. Go subscribe Texas DUers!

3. Dissent.
Its not really a magazine, its a quarterly, but I like it. It sort of looks at things from a more social-democratic perspective.

10. I also voted for American Prospect
The Progressive is in the Minor Leagues compared to the other magazines in that poll, which are all top rate. American Prospect should take that place in the poll.

6. I can't decide
I get Mother Jones, The Nation, Progressive and Sierra Club and often read Harper's at the library. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I like them all!

I keep magazines in my car and my bag, so if I get caught in traffic or waiting somewhere for an appointment, I enjoy the time instead of getting angry.
