OK, be jealous, I just installed lights under my cabinets...

Now, I have install one more on the left side and to do the other side.

15. I would like to use it sorta as a night light and for ambience.
I live alone so they provide enough light to see whose ass I have to kick for breaking in my hous. :P

I know a great electrician in your neck of the woods. PM if you want his number. Did my office, outside lighting and our sunroom. Very good work and reasonable.

tree man, and great contractor and great plumber. I am a one woman general contractor!!!

Seriously, we just did a year's worth of additions to our house and learned a great deal about what to do/not to do.

8. If those lights aren't LED, they are going to look so 20th. century.
This is the fear of the updating home remodeler, the need for constant updates to keep up.

17. I got a kind from Lowes (Buy Blue) that is Xenon lighting.
You can link them together and the plug in part snaps in. So I was able to feed it in through my cabinets up to where my built-in microwave is plugged in.

I ain't no electricitian. If I couldn't plug it in it wasn't going to work. So all I did is put in 2 screws, drilled 2 holes in the cabinets top and bottom, took the shelves out of the cabinet, threaded the cord, plugged it in to the lite and then plugged the light into the socket. Tada! I gotta under cabinet lightiing. Took me maybe an hour.
