Anyone Ever Had Ice Wine?

but I have several friends who love the stuff. When we drink wine together we usually compromise with a late harvest wine. Still sweet but not so overpoweringly so.

Taken from someone who hates alcohol. if I had to drink wine, it would be ice wine. Sweet and very fruity. Sometimes you forget it's wine. Which can cause some problems!

It's sweet it's true, which makes it an excellent dessert wine. I bought several bottles of varying prices when I was up in Toronto, but my palate isn't sensitive enough to tell the difference between the $25 bottle or the $40 bottle.

Yes, it's expensive. VERY expensive.

6. my first experience with ice wine

was my last, we had about four bottles of homemade stuff....

blacked out.
slept with a co worker.
woke up on the floor / with fridge door open beside me
took three days to recover.
