I'm just behind Steve Jobs?! at 25.48%.

If you panic at question 12, well . . .

17. It's better than it used to be
every week, we were in Radio Shack. There was a RS outlet store, but it closed, mercifully.

2. 34% Not too bad
I thought it would be a lot worse. I guess I'm a nerd in different ways. I have the ferrets, but I'm not really into computers or Star Trek that much. I was co-captain of the Scholastic Bowl team in high school, though.

3. It's says I'm a nerd!
I consider myself more of a Nadia though (as in American Pie- lover of male nerds). My husband told me once I'm just a wanna be nerd. :(

4. This is the first poll
Edited on Sat Sep-27-03 11:12 PM by eileen_d
In which being shoved into a locker was an advantage ;) That happened to me, but it was just because I was short.

I got 94.01% but I don't think it accurately measured my nerdiness - I'm not a science or Star Trek nerd, just a computer one.

Come to think of it, yeah, most of you probably would believe that about me. It's not like I try all that hard to hide it...

Edited on Sat Sep-27-03 11:41 PM by Dudley_DUright
I scored higher than Dilbert! The question about going to a party with all Math Ph.D.s made me laugh since most of the conference parties I go to are all Physics Ph.D.s (including yours truly) which everyone knows are even more nerdy than math Ph.D.s. :silly:

26. As for question #12, ahem... And you don't want to know how nerdy I am
I just about did buy the Kirk movie era uniform. Except the outfitter didn't bother to specify what each goofy size designation meant. And at $300, I didn't want to be wrong.

But I would have bought it all the same. Very stylish, that outfit design...

Oh, I'm 79.02% nerdy, score of 369. I beat Ernie, ha ha ha!

Dunno how Duhbya can be at 110%, that's a lie. (Bush* must've told them himself then!)

Like I'm really surprised!

I *was* President of my High School Chess Club, collected slide-rules (hey! I'm probably one of the last people who still knows how to use the fool things), buy Neal Stephenson's novels in hard-back, and was once voted Most Likely to Have a Mad, Passionate Affair with a Physics Professor...

You mean Bill Gates *isn't* cute???

I lost 25 points since I'm on a Windows machine right now...

But I have to commend you on your link -- I love Archie McPhee!!! I've been getting their catalog for at least 16 years now! I used to order from there regularly, but in a (mostly failed) attempt to simplify my life, I've cut back on the "things" and gave away a lot of my McPhee goodies. Maybe I should order another Punching Nun Puppet...then maybe my life will have meaning. :)
