My cats just use me as a bed.
Maybe it's to get warmth, but my cats always want to sleep on me. Are you a bed?

2. Yes.
I'm also used as a catwalk (no pun intended) to the floor.

3. Yes. A double bed, actually, as of this very moment.

And I have been trying to type on a laptop *around* the hairy carcass of a 15-lb. feline who likes to lounge across my neck.

4. One of our cats goes beyond merely trying to sleep on us.
He literally comes up and starts trying to knead our faces with his front paws. If we turn him around he'll settle for our stomachs or legs, but he seems to think we want him putting his paws in our mouths and eyes while we sleep.

He's a nutcase, but we love our Calis anyway.

9. To a dog, you're family. To a cat, you're
furniture.

I speak from the experience of having been owned by a series of beloved cats.

12. Two cats and a dog pin me to the mattress every morning.
I actually prefer it to waking up with a man on me. I'm too old for those games, now. ;)

around your neck, like a living, breathing fur collar.

Never ceases to amaze me. The cat also wakes me up if she wants to be scratched! I feel privileged to be a bed! :)

16. Yeah. She acts kinda pissed when she's read y for sleep
and I'm not. The book gets in the way and she doesn't really appreciate lamp light; the television remote is an intruder. She lets me know it is time to lay down right now with the correct comforter and be still and pet her until she bites me to let me know it is time to quit the petting and just stay still.

If she needs me awake, she sticks her muzzle into my mouth or licks my eye. It's real sweet.

;-)

18. I can relate.......(laughing REAL hard)
One of my dogs 'used' to climb onto to the bed in the AM and do her 'thing'........NOT GOOD. Broke that habit, thank goodness. :)

20. My new doggie like to lay on me
Also, after a bath, she likes to be swaddled, and lay on me until she stops vibrating.

Your cats also use you as a food dispenser.

22. Yep.
One of my cats, my female Toona is quite aloof, but the other, a 1 year old we took in from a shelter when he was 9 weeks old, is a fat, male cat named Mario that absolutely follows me everywhere. I tend to sleep in the fetal position, and he likes to position himself right on my butt or behind my knees. He also likes to put himself on a chair I keep right beside me at the computer. Toona likes to jump up on the bed, and put her face about 2 inches away from mine and start yelling for me to wake up and feed her dried crabmeat (It's quite popular as a cat treat here in Japan, along with dried clams).

23. My kitty Puck sleeps under the covers
flattened against me. In the morning, she's still there, usually with her little nose and paw pads sticking out from under the sheets. She's so cute when she sleeps!
