Bar fight goes outside, passing freight train subs as ref
Fairport police say three people were hit by a CSX train in Fairport Thursday night, two of the pedestrians were killed. Fairport police are still investigating what led to the accident.

Witnesses at the scene tell News 8 Now that a bar fight spilled out into the railroad crossing on Main St. in Fairport just before the train came thru.

8. i was a railroad engineer my whole adult life,
and when you hit someone it is not a pretty sight. very minimal chance of surviving

10. Hey, I know where that is...
My employer sends me to one of our customers located about five blocks from the RR Xing on Main St. in the Fairport NY Business District. Although the town doesn't appear all that wealthy, the business district is one of those pretty little yuppified suburban downtowns, not yer typical biker bar neighborhood. I kinda vaguely remember a sports bar over there. The police department is maybe 200 yards from where the accident took place...

Too much alcohol will make anyone act stupid and reckless I guess.
