Seriously, I think it's wonderful that there just might be two guys who are in the midst of a duel as I type. I don't care whether it stems from a bloodfeud or one too many beers...the thought just makes me happy.

Makes the world a more interesting place, you know?

3. German dueling clubs

There are dueling clubs in Germany, where they use a short, blunt sword called a Schlager. They keep their feet still, wear protection for eyes, ears, and neck.

Very unlikely in its present form that you'll kill somebody, but you can give them a nasty scar.

If I remember correctly, it is predominantly popular among neonazis, but I might just be blowing it out my ass on that point.

two great actors--Harvey Keitel and Keith Carradine---in a sword fight (and pistol duel) that spans several decades.
Whenever anyone mentions 'sword fight' I think of that movie.
