If Ben Franklin were alive today...
I think he would be one kick-ass progressive a great asset to our side. However the powers that be would no doubt try to stifle him

5. Of course he would. He DID live in France after all.
And for the decade immediately following the Revolutionary War.

Maybe he would be spun as "fleeing" the results of the war... like libs currently "flocking to Canada".
