Looking for a new neighbor.......sad story.
My neighbor and his family plan of selling their house in Feb., they tragically lost their son in a car accident in July. I've tried everything to help but his wife just doesn't want memories. I understand and will miss them terribly. The kid didn't cause an ounce of trouble and usually mowed part of my lawn. I was away in Canada when it happened and drove 10-11 hours but missed the funeral. They said they want to stay local, but it will not be the same for me.

So if anyone wants to be my neighbor let me know the house will go on the market in Feb. its in NY state, 60 miles north of NY city. I have no idea what it will list for but his house and mine are the only two the builder ever built in 1954, very similar and top notch construction. Brick 3 br, pool, large yard, finish basement and no one can ever built behind us own by the church wooded.

I've renamed the cul-de-sac "Nuts Landing"-- the boozing and self-inflicted problems these folks cook up would make Doctor Phil stoke out, stat.

7. What a sad story
I can understand their feelings - it would be very hard to have all those memories constantly around you. Hope your next neighbor is as good as they've been - it makes life so much better to have good neighbors.

9. I know and understand I had a family member that had the same thing.....
happen when their son was 13. She went over and spoke with them in my absence. It is a normal and expected reaction.
