6. I've reviewed these movies for an Oregon station...

"Kinsey" A+ -- fascinating study of this amazing historical figure. Liam Neeson really brings him to life; Laura Linney as his dutiful and understanding wife is just magnificent (except for her awful wigs!).

"Sideways" A -- just a terrific little film about "male bonding"!

and if you can hold out until later in December...

"The Aviator" A+ with Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet, directed by Martin Scorsese, is just fantastic (opens on Christmas Day in our area). We saw a preview last Thursday night prior to its opening and most agreed it was excellent.

Good luck... see you at the movies!

8. Finding Neverland....

A really good piece of movie making with Johnny Depp playing John Barrie, the man who wrote Peter Pan...

Supported by Dustin Hoffman and Kate Winslet, as the insperation for Wendy.....

Simply enchanting.....

Also, National Treasure wasn't bad, kind of CSI meets Indiana Jones.... It's a smart movie that doesn't talk down to you but is all but spoiled by the dumb tag they put on the end....

Why doesn't hollywood know that not everything has to be tied up in a neat little package....

Fuck Closure, it alomost ruined this movie...

Still worth it though.....
