Lost 2 of my in-laws the beginning of the year, then 9/11 happened, then GH passed away...it was not a year I remember with any great pleasure...

16. His sister lives downstate, and runs a Beatles B&B

His sister, owns and operate a bed-an-breakfast in Benton, IL, and the B&B has a small museum with tons of original Beatles' artifacts and collectibles, plus photos, correspondence, etc. from George to the family. George visited the US in 1962, and spent about two weeks in Southern Illinois.

Tony and I have stayed there, and both she and the B&B are delightful.
