Somtimes I feel like I should just read fiction, watch TV and enjoy myself- and TUNE OUT.

13. I've been in local, state & national politics for a while.

I've been "doing it myself" and "working w/i the system" and "taking it to the streets" for some time- but the high-ups wont listen to us-they fight us and distance themselves from us- even after all the hard work we do...and all the times weve been RIGHT about things...

That glass of wine sounds good and I think I'll pour myself a glass of "Red Truck" a delightful red table wine. Ever since the election I've been becoming an expert in $10 wines. I'm going to turn off the computer and finish reading "Homegrown Democrat."

While smug about being a liberal, he reminds me it's always going to be a fight -- because we're for the underdogs and as long as there is life, there will be underdogs.

12. I've decided to join you

and just poured a glass of Chardonnay. I am trying to remain optimistic that the incredible hubris of the current administration will bring them down, and drinking wine makes this more believable.
