My bathroom door hates me

Several months ago, I was walking down the hallway and the bathroom door was lurking there. It jumped me and broke my toe.

This morning I closed said door and it smooshed my thumbnail in between its unrelenting self and the doorjamb. Nail has a white crease in it now.

Should I unhinge the evil wood derivative and throw it down the hillside? Burn it?

When will it strike next?
