They are on the Baltic Sea.

Who's up for checking out the other 23,000 and finding a nice habitable one and moving there?

2. There's probably a reason they aren't inhabited
Plus after the ice caps melt about 20,000 are going to disappear

5. OK so 3000 islands left!
Been checking out their migration website, just for kicks. Homosexuals can gain refugee status if they fear persecution in their own country due to their homosexuality.

Had no idea. What a progressive country. Can you imagine the US saying that? BWA!

3. I dunno. Connecticut winters are cold enough.
If I lived off the coast of Sweden, I undoubtedly would have a major problem with shrinkage between, say, December and March! :scared:

4. WOW
Did you guys know you could receive refugee status in Sweden if you fear "persecution due to your gender or homosexuality" in your native country?

8. I'm in!
I looked at the requirements for asylum and from what I see, we pretty much qualify. :bounce:

"This means that Sweden must grant asylum to......those who have reason to fear persecution in their native country due to:

*their affiliation to a particular social group." (reality based thinking human)

*their religious or political opinions." (tolerant, independent agnostic, that's me)

*those who need protection due to war or an environmental disaster in their native country." (we got both here)

I say they'll give it to us. One concern I have is do they have oil? If so, I'm out.

12. Many of them are treeless, rocky, and barren...
...which can be cool, if you like that sort of thing like I do. :-)
On the other coast, this island was very nice (mosquitos notwithstanding), but unfortunately it's a National Park.
