41 years since you stumbled out onto Totter's Lane. Happy Birthday, you fictional curmudgeon, you. (yes, this is the nerdiest post of the day)

2. That's right - I had forgotten!
They delayed/interrupted the first broadcast because of the Kennedy assassination. A fun, entertaining show, and my favorite Sci-Fi.

3. I have always loved Dr. Who.
Tom Baker was my personal favorite. This show spoke to the inner child and gave me hours of enjoyment. I watch any time I can catch one. And I'm not even a nerd...

7. It's more comic than most Sci Fi.
There's an air of absurdity about it that rescues it from po-facedness.

8. Yeah. Christopher Eccleston. A good choice.
I know the CBC has bought it, so I imagine a US network will follow suit.

Let's do bioorganic chemistry. :bounce: BTW, I noticed you are from Pittsburgh. Great city. I have relatives from Monroeville, Sharon and Washington...and lived in the P'burgh for awhile. Loves me the Strip District. :hi: And does your field make you a psychopath?

Late 70s. Until four or five years ago, I'd return at least three times a year, though. Loved driving through the tunnels then over the bridges on the way back to da Burgh at night when I was a kid.

31. there is nothing like the view coming out of the Ft. Pitt tunnel
at night. And I think we have the second largest number of bridges in the world. Many I know who have left here really miss it, and many have returned.
