i had a shitty day.

I have a new cold, plus I think I might be slightly allergic to my new yarn I am knitting with while I am sick! I fell, hook-line-and-sinker for a really ugly parody site like a total dumbass. (and posted it on GD, only to be LOL'd !) My DH fell straight to sleep on the couch, so no nooky tonight. and to top it off, I have nothing new to read tomorrow, and I don't think I will feel good enough to even get out of bed.

Poor me. Please gimme some lovin'. :nopity:

normally I'd kick you in the teeth for that, but tonight I am whimpering in a corner... really. Poor me. I'm serious.

To add to my litany of minute irritations for the day, I need to get some meds and orange juice so I can snap out of this shit and my ID and debit card can't be found for thirty minutes! DH is no help as he is worthless when he's drowsy (got him to move from couch to bed) so I have to wander the house wondering where in the hell my dumb ass put them last. I just found them and am now FINALLY heading to the store. I will be back for my ass-kicking, wouldn't want to disappoint you. (although with my track record today, I will)

thanks skittles. I am. I just got back, got some OJ, Contac, a gossip rag, and some Kleenex. I didn't really need more Kleenex at home, but got so runny at the store that I had to tear into a box at the store and of course that means I had to buy it. Hopefully I can kick this cold's ass tonight and feel better tomorrow. I am prone to bronchitis which sets off my sporadic asthma and the albuterol I have is expired! god. could i be any more pitiful, even I can't stand myself tonight!

this thing hit me like a ton of bricks. In restrospect I think perhaps I should have visited the doc; perhaps some heavy-duty medicine would have shortened this hell. I tell you for three days I thought I had the flu; still not entirely convinced I didn't.

I get sick maybe once or twice a year, and it's usually not too severe. I hope this goes the same. I refuse to get the flu, I think that helps, really. It's weird, I always believed that my appendix would rupture, since I was little I had this little bug in the back of my mind that said it would happen, and it did. I have told myself I WILL NOT get the flu for several years now, and I haven't. Maybe just a coincidence, but who really knows the power of the mind. If I could just believe that I would never ever get sick at all maybe I wouldn't. Hard to convince oneself of that, though.

what's your point? I don't have time for this, give me sympathy now! I get very demanding the longer I feel pitiful. And I am pretty pitiful right now. Snot running everywhere, starting to get woozy from the cold medicine, sneezing every five minutes and no one awake to bless me, I could go on and on, so get busy with the sympathy bub!
