Anyone else just NOT enamored with Harry Potter movies?
I mean, gees. I've seen two and couldn't tell you the difference. Do I really need to see a third or subsequent installment?

2. See I loved them. They follow the books and bring them to life.
The larger books are going to be hard to bring to the movie screen though.

8. Yeah, I just can't seem to get into kiddie fantasy
or fantasy as a genre, for that matter. Was indifferent about LOTR as well.

4. Me...and I love the books
I rented the first Harry Potter movie and kept falling asleep every time I started to watch it. Same with the second. Then I just gave up and didn't even try the third. Course I had the same experience with the fifth book. I think JK Rowlings needs to get a move on and finish up the story.

6. The first two are lousy
The third has a different director and is much better. At least I think so.

7. I love the movies and I love the books
Haven't yet seen the third movie, but will soon. I think for the first two movies they did an amazing job of being true to the books. Not an easy job. But I think these books/movies are classics and are going to be around for long time.

9. I MUCH preferred the Lemony Snicket Series of Unfortuante Events
Don't know if the movie will do them justice. They are SO well written that you forget that they each have the identical plot!

10. First two Potter movies pale in comparison to third.
Brilliant. But then again, I saw it on IMAX, stoned off my ass.
