Elvis Dies...
Elvis was found dead in his bathroom of his mansion. He died Wednesday, August 16, 1977, and was found at 2:30 in the morning in his bathroom. Dr. Francisco indicated that Elvis died of cardiac arrhythmia, which is another form of a heart attack. He said the three-hour autopsy uncovered no sign of any other diseases, though Presley had been treated at Baptist Memorial Hospital for hypertension, pneumonia and an enlarged colon and there was no sign of any drug abuse.
