1. Consumer Reports said that was just a ploy
to get people to use twice the amount of product they really need. CR said that it is unnecessary to wash twice in most cases.

Of course, in the same article they said that dishwashing liquid is the same as shampoo and lots cheaper, so everybody should just use Dawn to wash their hair.

3. as someone who grew up in the
"beauty and barber" business-do not use dish soap to wash your hair. back in the old days you really needed to wash twice because of the grease and oil men used and the lacquer women sprayed on their hair....

4. In my 45 years of life
I may have "rinse and repeat" maybe 10 times. Most of those times were as a child.
