Reverend Billy Graham wraps up historic four-day crusade
PASADENA, Calif. Huge crowds are braving the chill today to hear the Reverend Billy Graham preach on the last of his historic four-day crusade.

Volunteers in the welcome area are holding signs in 26 languages for non-English speaking guests. Tens of thousands are standing on line for seats and refreshments.

Worshippers packed the 92-thousand-seat Rose Bowl during the first three days of the crusade.

<...>

This mission will be the 86-year-old preacher's last in California and likely his second-to-last ever. Graham is expected to appear at a revival in New York's Madison Square Garden in June.

Four-day crusade? Why, back in my day, crusades lasted years if not decades if not centuries! And we did that without the luxury of air conditioning! And we had to literally slaughter nonbelievers left and right! I'd say if Billy Graham wants to go on a crusade, he ought to throw on some chain mail, paint a big red cross on a shield, and sky-dive into central Riyadh!

2. Somehow I doubt that.
"Refreshments" rings hollow to me. It sounds like someone set up a table with cookies and macaroni salad on it.
