My Friend Wants To Wear Girls Pants

Today he tells me, "I want some girls pants."

and I ask him, "Good lord, why???"

"They fit nice and tight. Tighter than guys pants. Chicks pants are cool."

So I just said, "Umm...alrighty, then next you'll be wearing make up, growing your hair long, wearing girls shirts and high heels too."

And he just said "Man...whatever."

A lot of my friends actually wear girls' jeans. They're a lot slimmer and fit better since they're tall and thin. I don't see them being ashamed wearing girls' jeans. :shrug: I'm an old-fashioned person, and I prefer bulky jeans, but I'm not about to call my friends sissies for their choice in jeans.

If you wear clothing that is societally designated for a member of the opposite sex, then you are a transvestite. Eddie Izzard is a proud transvestite, and he looks rather (disturbingly, to some) good in his war paint and outfits. He's also a rather clever fellow.

I did not make a judgment call of any sort in my comment. I happen to find some transvestites charming and amusing (the ones I am familiar with anyway, the ones who get their own TV shows, like Ru Paul and Brini Maxwell). I think your perception of any judgment or PUT DOWN is all on you, not me.

I've got larger thighs and butt muscles after almost 40 years of working-out. I have very little fat below the belt on the front. Men's jeans just don't fit me any longer. In Wrangler (don't laugh, I'm poor) jeans, I had to get a waist size almost 8 inches too big to get jeans big enough to fit my thighs. The waist in women's jeans is actually smaller than the hips, so it fits my waist better. Also, women's jean makers are no longer making jeans with a ridiculously high waist like the older women's ones and to a lesser extent, the men's ones. Finally, women's jeans are usually cheaper, so it's a win all the way around.

PS: Start looking at labels on blue jeans. You'll be surprised at how often guys wear girl's jeans.

I've purchased and worn men's jeans, shirts, and am now wearing a pair of men's boxers as shorts.

I've also worn a tie (not that unusual for women...it's a different look, but can be easily pulled off).

Not a big deal. Maybe he just likes the fit better.

23. When my older brother was in college

our cousin would do his laundry for him (let's just say she's a pushover). One day she got their jeans mixed up and they both liked the way the other's jeans fit that they left it like that. Neither one of them went out and bought new jeans, but they continued to wear each other's for the rest of the year.
