2. Wow... you had "mute"?? And A REMOTE?!

I had to get up and rotate the volume/on-off knob to manually mute the sound. (But by the time the music got to be annoying... well... you know.)

I thought I was cutting-edge with my Betamax. I felt I knew something that all those VHS users didn't. They were about to be obsolete... I thought.

One time my boyfriend at the time were watching some porn trying to get all in the grove, but some of the music and lame dialog was so bad I busted out laughing. Ruined the mood. But no big loss, he was a jerk.

...had some cool jazz album by a big name...I forget who it was by. He played some for me and suggested the name of the album should have been "Up Next, Your Local Forecast".

5. More crazy music stories

I hope this is going over the line and get locked.

But I was onetime at a ........ "men's club" and I had made friends with the guys at the front desk (a bunch of crazy queens). It was a rather slow night for me (in other words, it was slim pickin's or doggy dinner night) so I was goofing off the guys that worked there. I was asking what was the strangest music they've played while the place was open .... this guy puts on the Andrew Sisters and told be run up stairs and check out the reactions. Sure as hell there were some guys "taking care of bizzness", but several guys starting laughing and remarked "there is NO WAY I can do it to THAT!".
