Musical Ringtones = 21st Century ELEVATOR MUSIC.

Just got myself a new cell phone- camera phone with all the various goodies involved. I never would've spent money on it, but it came free with a contract renewal with my provider, so I took it.

I've always been a pretty vanilla cell phone user, so out of curiosity, I went into the mobile services menu to look at the various applications I could download. Sure enough, the ringtones caught my eye. I downloaded a demo version and started surfing through their collection of ringtones to see if there was something I liked.

I WAS HORRIFIED.

I heard a lot of very good songs being absolutely BUTCHERED. I found myself wandering through a homogenized, cutesy, soulless electronic hell of beeps and boops.

This is the elevator music of the 21st century. Abhorrent.

Added bonus: I found I could download a ringtone that says (and no, I am not kidding), "PICK UP THE PHONE, BEEYOTCH!" :eyes:
