has anyone suggested a woodworkers group?
Edited on Wed Nov-17-04 05:53 AM by mharris660
We should while we still have our fingers. Exchange plans, tips, and tool recommendations. We need 10 responses right? I don't think I've ever gotten 10 responses before but here goes.

7. I'll try to get this back on track.
I would be interested. Count me in. Skinner may want a somewhat broader focus, say handyman/home improvement rather than talking about making sawdust.

9. Sure.
You might include home improvement, handy tips, woodworking, renovations, crafting, I don't know what all more.

I have PMed people with advice in the past, there is some appetirte for that. Me, I make furniture, and a lot of other stuff as well. I'll be away for a few days what with work and going away for the weekend. If I don't catch the thread count me as committed (yet not yet institutionalized).

17. I agree - a broader forum would do good.
Woodworking, crafts, handyman, etc.

....I'm learning to build Windsor Chairs with hand tools in my home shop. My day job involves "high end" woodworking.

14. You could count my husband in, too.
We subscribe to every woodworking magazine known to man.

He just joined Du, but I'm not 100% sure what his screen name is yet.
