Well, they say confession is good for the soul... so here goes.
I had a HUGE choice to make and for good or bad I did so. Last night Mike Malloy spoke about the soldiers who needed phone cards to call home and I had to make a choice if I should donate here or a phone card.

I just started back to work and aside from being extremely far behind from bills I am not working a full 40 hours a week. BUT hey the way I look at it I am at least working.

So what little money I could spare had to go here or the soldiers. I have thought about it all night and after thinking of a friend of mine(my first boyfriend) who made the military his career(mind you he did so during peace time...became a mechanic.) I feel the money would best be served with the soldiers at this time. Sorry to disappoint.

4. no apology needed
My son is waiting to hear if he will be called up with his local Nat'l Guard unit for Iraq duty and I would have paid for a phone card too. We have to keep these hundreds of thousands of soldiers sane because someday they will be your neighbors and mine....

5. Glad to hear you're working again
Congrats on getting back to work- I've been there, too.

I've been re-employed for about a year - but still making about half of what I did before.
