Migrating an attorney's office's entire network to Linux! Ask me Anything!
In fact, I'm posting from the new server. (People are already connected to the Internet through it) Server goes first. Then database goes from Access to web app under MySQL. Then users' machines. Resistance is futile. :smoke:

15. OS X won't work on pre-G4 CPUs. The PPC is pre-G4.

Teaching lawyers how to use a word processor! My neighbor is a netdude for a law office, too. He's told me the horror stories about technophobic lawyers. You have my greatest sympathies. What kind of desktop are you using? Any particular distro? I assume you're using OpenOffice for your office suite? Good luck! :toast: :hi:

6. THIS lawyer is seriously technophiliac.
I'm using Fedora Core 3. fresh from the oven. Purrs like a pussycat. Sleek 'n' mean. Love it. I'll establish GNOME for the masses. And yes, OpenOffice.
